We welcome applications from all types of stallholder including charities, local crafts and commercial vendors. We also want children’s rides, entertainers and novelty features. As this is a Christmas event, we will be running a prize competition for the stalls which look the most christmassy and we will also be giving priority to stalls with a Christmas theme.
As you may realise, in view of the Coronavirus pandemic we are not able to guarantee that the event will take place. IF THE EVENT HAS TO BE CANCELLED WE WILL REFUND ALL BOOKING FEES IN FULL.
Applying for a stall is a three-stage process:
- Complete the application form below after reading the Terms and Conditions and our Data Protection Policy. Note that standard applications are for pitches measuring 3m x 3m or 3m x 6m. If you can’t fit into either of those sizes please contact us at email@example.com so we can discuss your needs.
- Make payment for the application (this will be fully refunded if for any reason we reject the application). You can pay on-line beneath the form by using the drop down list to select type/pitch size and quantity – you can then pay by using either PayPal or Credit/Debit Card. If you cannot pay by either PayPal or by credit card then please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org. Applications will not be processed until payment is received. If you are booking a food stall, the process is slightly different, as we are looking to ensure that we have a good variety of food suppliers. If you have a food stall, please register your interest a.s.a.p. and we will confirm attendance by 31st July.
- If your stall involves heating, lighting, any type of machinery (including generators), food, animals, inflammable materials, or activities where there is a possibility of risk of injury to members of the public, you should forward a copy of your Public Liability Insurance cover and your Risk Assessment with your application as specified in the Terms and Conditions. We have prepared a sample Risk Assessment that can be used as a template, and you can download it here. Please email the documents to email@example.com, stating the name of the applicant and the organisation given in the application form. (Note that this can be sent any time after you submit your application, but before the end of October 2022).
If you will be preparing or selling food you will need to comply with relevant Food Safety regulations.
